Uncontrolled plastic trash

The United Nations Environmental agency published a report that the volume of uncontrolled plastic trash will increase approximately 2.5 times by 2040, and that the outflowing of this plastic trash into the environment will continue to grow exponentially in the future. On the other hand, if we will be able to control the consumption of plastics and promote their recycling, 80% of outflow into the sea will be reduced and make it quite possible to decontaminate the sea environment. The report further estimates that the amount of uncontrolled plastic trash in 2015 was around 60,000,000 ~ 99,000,000 tons worldwide. In 2016, 11,000,000 tons of plastic trash were removed to the sea, 31,000,000 tons were removed to the land and 49,000,000 tons were incinerated.
